Summer Daniels

Summer Daniels

Director, Little Rae Prints

With the birth of my daughter came a whole new identity for me. So much love exploded into my life and all of my energy, heart and soul went into being the best mama bear a little girl could dream of. When my daughter was 3.5 months new,  on 12 months maternity leave from a career in Human Resources, I realised I needed to channel my creativity into something that was mine but not separate to the new life I was loving living. So out came my old paintbrushes and Little Rae Prints was born.

What started as a hobby quickly evolved into a sustainable business - selling watercolour art prints for children's rooms and all manner of juggling became necessary as my new-found role as a business owner took shape.  I shared my art, family, mama-life and creative behind-the -scenes journey through a number of social media platforms and began blogging my journey.  12 months in, I have permanently left my prior professional identity behind and have focussed on continuing to drive and grow Little Rae Prints.
