Kurt is the director of strategy at Brisbane content agency The Content Division. He has chalked up nearly two decades of experience as a journalist, marketing strategist, workshop facilitator and public speaker. He's passionate about creativity being the great hope of modern marketing, and has worked with brands big and small from suburban butchers through to great big city builders.
Ashton has a passion for growing brands through creative storytelling. Before joining Queensland-grown startup Gathar as their first CMO, Ashton worked both in-house and agency-side for global game changers (Flight Centre), industry disrupters (Youfoodz), and award-winning agencies (Red Havas), and has even been known to side-gig as a travel writer and restaurant reviewer. More than anything, Ashton loves helping people find their ‘why’, making the work week feel less like a bunch of Mondays strung together.
Jarrod has over 17 years experience in the marketing and digital media industry and worked on well known brands like QUT, the Brisbane Lions and RACQ. He is passionate about digital marketing, content, leveraging data and behavioural economics opportunities for marketing.
An advocate for customer centricity, Jarrod believes having a deep understand of the customer and the drivers of their behaviours allows businesses to create positive customer experiences at every stage of the customer journey.
Jarrod has been an instructor for ADMA’s Digital Marketing Certificate since 2018 and spoken at a range of industry and events and conferences.
Jessica is a Content Strategist at Brisbane-based, global software company simPRO. She has a passion for all things content and believes carefully curated copy is key to driving strategic marketing actions and business success. From website content and digital ads to hard-copy marketing collateral, video scripts and everything in between, she has written it.
Before starting at simPRO, Jessica worked as a Marketing Manager at Ronin Marketing and as a Journalist for News Corp.
Lily leads the content strategy capability for Deloitte Digital Queensland. With 5+ years of consulting for national and international clients under her belt, there are few industries she hasn't touched. Lily goes to sleep each night repeating the mantra - content leads design, design leads technology and technology delivers both. Her favourite challenges meet at the intersection of martech investment and content strategy. Above anything, Lily is a people person, a collaborator, and a creator.
