Alicia Marr

Alicia Marr

Digital Content Manager, Serotonin Creative

Alicia Marr is a Digital and Content specialist with a background in agency and client-side across fashion, leisure, B2B and government. The wide variety of clients and brands she has worked over in the past 10 years has allowed her to develop different skills and most importantly the ability to adapt and learn. Content has been key in Alicia's career, from travelling around Australia in 2012 as a ghost-writer in a Suncorp Bank campaign to creating behind the scenes content at photoshoots, and getting PR coverage for some of Cover-More's most interesting insurance claims. Alicia describes content marketing as internal investigative journalism - you have to be ready to ask the tough questions and push until you get the answer.

In her spare time, Alicia has been teaching at QUT since 2011 in Digital and Content subjects across undergrad and post-grad. She was on the review board for QUT's Advertising degree and worked alongside some of Brisbane's most senior Advertising execs and academics to build the new style of degree. When she's not working or teaching you'll find Alicia chilling at home with a cheese platter and her two cats Roger and Lulu.
