Many creative marketing projects get underway without a clear sense of expectations between the client and the creative folks (whether in-house or freelance) delivering it. The result? An extended and expensive creative development process with many revisions – not to mention chewed-up nails, bruised egos and depleted momentum.

Taking the time and energy up front to craft a thorough creative brief will save you time and money, and ensure you get the creative marketing campaign you envisioned.

Here’s a sneaky peek at the speakers for this event.

Director, Superfox Merchandise

Kelly Quinn's ultimate passion is marketing and branding development and really being the sticky glue between sales and marketing whatever the job looks like!  Kelly’s worked in multi-nationals and SME’s in branding for over 13 years and her pursuit for new and exciting challenges has taken her from the UK, to Asia and now to sunny Australia.  What you wouldn’t expect to hear is she’s a penny-pinching marketer and believes that we could do a whole lot more with our marketing $$$’s if we just did the right planning.

Kelly started Superfox, a boutique promotional marketing company here in Brisbane almost 3 years ago and now lists Tourism Queensland, QIC Hutchinson Builders, Heart Foundation, Fone Zone and QR as her clients.  If you ask any of the Superfox team for advice on promotional marketing, they’ll drill with a hundred questions, give you some tough but down to earth advice and most of all you’ll get products and a plan that will deliver results for your brand.

Alan has held many business planning, marketing and strategic planning roles throughout an eclectic career.

He worked for a number of years in the IT industry, dedicated 6 years to the IT trade show business where he was based in Boston and managed international marketing for events in the US, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.  He then developed the Apple MacWorld trade shows in a number of cities around the world.  He created and managed his own marketing communications company for eight years prior to selling it to the US company for whom he ultimately worked.  For the decade prior to joining Hutchies he earned a crust as a consultant in strategic and business planning, marketing communications planning, learning about, and remaining besotted, by the internet and some not for profit and community based projects.

For the past two years with Hutchies, in the role of JOATMON (Jack of All Trades, Master of None), he continues to learn and be eclectic.
