Join us for the Isolation Edition of NETWORX – online!

COVID-19 isn’t going to stop us having a NETWORX event – We’re just going to do it a bit differently.  Join us via ZOOM! Use the code "IsolationEdition" to book!

We are making this event free to our NETWORX community – we ask that you still register, but understand that we can only have a maximum of 100 participants in this environment.  We will still be doing our pre-event networking (via the chat feature), you can ask questions, there will be slides and screen sharing, and there are still door prizes!  So set yourself up with a glass of wine and some snacks, and settle in from the comfort (and safety!) of your own home for our March Event – Is the Agency Model Dead?

  • More event details

National advertising spend last year fell for the first time in seven years. Disruption from consultants, reducing budgets and thinning margins are squeezing agencies right now. But is it too early to talk of their demise, and what model would replace it?

    During this panel, you'll discover

    • How we got here and why it's important
    • What is happening at the coal face in the industry today
    • What marketers need to know to get the best from their agency relationships
    • How to prepare for the future

    Who would benefit from attending

    • Marketing, digital and communication professionals
    • Business owners and directors
    • Agencies

Here’s a sneaky peek at the speakers for this event.

Stephen Ball

Stephen Ball

Head of Marketing, Pacific, AVEVA

Steve’s a bit… unusual. After 17-years in advertising - ultimately as GOD (not the “God” of course, but Group Operations Director of 37-agencies in Australia/New Zealand), he called it quits to try his hand at recruitment. Within 12-months he turned around the business, the agency was voted by smartcompany as one of the fastest growing and innovative companies that year. A few years later, he jumped to the dark side, working with one of the biggest B2B technology brands in the world, where he worked through the ranks to head Brand and Marketing Operations. After another couple years on his own specialising in Account Based Sales and Marketing, Steve joined Adobe to become Chief of Staff and Head of Marketing Operations for the region. He relocated to Brisbane recently to join the AVEVA team.

Emily Forrest

Emily Forrest

Head of Business Development, Reload Media

With over ten years of industry experience, Emily began her career working client-side, before transitioning to a digital agency, living and working in London and then eventually arriving at Reload as part of our Digital Strategy Team in 2016. This journey has armed Emily with the invaluable knowledge that every client is unique and deserves a digital strategy that is equally specific and custom-tailored towards their individual business goals. Refusing to settle for a generic approach, Emily works with the Reload team to help clients realise the full potential of a comprehensive digital strategy and how it plays a critical part in a business’s entire ecosystem. From the very first conversations with clients, Emily is hard at work with the team to create a unique strategy that is results focused and clearly aligned with the business’ overall goals. As a senior member of the Reload team, Emily is always there to offer advice, experience and guidance to all and ensure that everyone is working towards an approach that will get our clients the results that they deserve.
