Emma Carter

Senior Experience Designer, ThoughtWorks

Emma Carter has over fourteen years of experience in branding, visual and user experience design. Most recently she has been working to create a true native experience for a well-known banking app, and developing the brand direction for a new digital product with a well-established health organisation in Brisbane.

Prior to joining the ThoughtWorks team, she ran an award winning UK agency and is author of branding book ‘Beyond The Logo’. Emma was also the lead UX design consultant for Corporate Travel Management where she developed their online portal to help customers book and manage corporate travel and developed their native mobile app.

Working in a multidisciplinary team, with an Agile approach to projects, allows her to produce the best outcome in terms of design, technology, business value and a user experience that customers love.

Simon Clarke

Simon Clarke

Digital Banking Manager, Suncorp Bank

Simon Clarke currently manages the Digital Banking team and portfolio within Suncorp inclusive of Internet Banking, Mobile Apps and Mobile Payments. The Digital Banking team are known as driving users of lean UX and collaborative product development techniques to deliver award-winning Internet Banking and Mobile App offerings for the customers.

Experience Design Manager, SapientNitro Brisbane

As a professional daydreamer, Andrew Wight has enjoyed the privilege of working with some of the world's most interesting companies in London, Sydney and now Brisbane including Barclays, Toyota, Deutsche Bank, OPSM, Olympus, 3M, Barclaycard, ResMed and MYOB.  He is currently Experience Design Manager at SapientNitro Brisbane.  

His work has won multiple awards including a judges commendation at the London Design Week awards.  He also holds a Masters Degree in Information Architecture.

Cat Matson is Brisbane's Chief Digital Officer, overseeing the citywide Digital Brisbane strategy. Under the strategy, Cat is responsible for driving economic growth through digital adoption in the SME sector, strengthening the city's digital start-up ecosystem and facilitating Cyber City initiatives. Recently named as a rising female in the technology sector by the Sydney Morning Herald, Cat is considered an industry leader when it comes to the digital space, with a savvy business mind and a robust understanding of the wider business context.
